Timothy Swallow

is a spiritual teacher, Native American craftsman and traditional drum maker who grew up on the reservation in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. 

Known as Brave Elk, Tim is a member of the Teton Lakota band of Crazy Horse, and is an enrolled member of the Pine Ridge Agency of the Oglalla Sioux tribe.

Tim strives to teach the truth about Lakota
 tradition and values as a means of keeping his culture alive and promoting respect and understanding for it.
